The Film Festival at the Rathausplatz in Vienna  - Let the summer begin!

Is that time again – from June 30th to September 3rd 2017, the 27th Film Festival at the Rathausplatz in Vienna will be staged as usual in its full length of 66 days and to lift the veil a little, that much can be revealed:

For  friends and fans of classical music top international stars such as Anna Netrebko, Plácido Domingo, Elina Garanca, Juan Diego Florez, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Lang Lang and many others will offer something magical with their amazing performances.

Also a Who’s Who of the world’s most famous conductors and orchestras will be numerously featured in the program: Zubin Mehta, Gustavo Dudamel, Sir Simon Rattle, the Vienna Philharmonic, the State Opera Orchestra, the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra just to name a few.

This year a bow is given to famous musicians like: Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Miles Davis, Quincy Jones, George Michael, Diana Krall, Depeche Mode und den Rolling Stones, who will delight the audience in unique and rarely shown productions.
